StormCloud is a 10 year old Black female cat with long/medium hair with a slightly lighter longer mane that is more noticeable in the winter and spring. She is shy of strangers at 1st but is friendly when she feels the person is safe. She doesn't have a true meow sound but has a soft short ouwah like sound. If you can pet her tail, you will feel a little knob at the end of her tail where her mother accidentally bit off the tip of her tail when she was born. She was lost when I was finishing moving into our new apartment. She had been there for a few days and she seemed very excited about the new place. I hadn't been mainly trying to get everything packed up at the old place most of the time and had people helping with actually moving everything into the new apartment. On the last partial load of mainly plants, they had set everything outside my front door and patio. The load before had been messily placed and only left small pathway through with no open place for the last load. The people helping me had left and left me to find places to bring my plants in before the night temperatures killed the plants. This was I had seen StormCloud just before sunset on Halloween. She wasn't letting me catch her to put her up so I could leave the door open while bringing in the plants. She was acting like she was playing a game of you can't catch me within the mess of boxes around the new apartment and so I stopped trying to catch her. I started bringing the boxes with the plants inside opening and closing the door to try to keep StormCloud inside. I had blocked her 2 times but she must of still slipped by me without me seeing her get out. I didn't realize she was no longer inside at 1st because I thought she was hiding in amongst the boxes still playing hide and seek. It wasn't until I was getting ready for bed when I had called her to come to bed with me but she didn't respond, that I realized that she might of gotten outside. I started calling for her outside but she never responded. I set up a kennel with one of my heavy winter coats by my front door and my favorite chair was beside it outside. My boyfriend's favorite chair and litter box was left out on the patio. She has never responded and haven't been seen around the new apartment complex by me, family or friends since. My apartment manager had posted an alert with pictures on the complex's residential online bulletin board 3 days after she was last seen. I have a former neighbor and the manager at our apartments keeping an eye out for her there. I have been looking for her since and checking local shelters for her. She's my fur baby, my ESA kitty and I really miss her. Please help her come back home to us.
