While I was deployed, my beloved dogs— Stella, her mate **Major**, one adolescent male pup **Fat Boy** —were entrusted to my then-partner. Sadly, he cut all contact and disappeared with them. Since returning, I’ve discovered that he lost everything, is now incarcerated, and my documented ADA dogs were adopted out to new families.
