Kavik is a 14-year-old male German Shepherd, black and tan, large-bodied, and very friendly. His right ear may droop from an injury shortly before he went missing. He is a senior dog and may have some weakness in his back legs or difficulty walking at times. He was not wearing a collar, but he is microchipped. Kavik went missing the night of August 7, 2026, around 11:30 PM–12:00 AM from the Old Route 22 area near Sunday Road and Monument Road in Windsor Township/Hamburg, PA. He had never been a wanderer and disappearing like this was completely out of character for him. There have been no confirmed sightings. If you see a dog that may be Kavik, please do not chase him. Take a photo/video if possible, note the exact location and direction of travel, and contact me immediately.
