This has to be someone’s baby. He’s an intact male found on Estacada Way South. He was crying outside our gate. I’m convinced he’s someone’s baby for several reasons. He smells like he was in a home that burned/melted sweet smelling candles or just had a bath with sweet smelling shampoo, he appears to be pretty healthy and well groomed and fed. We put together some makeshift cat toys and he loves chasing strings. He knows not to use claws on furniture so far. He responds to come, up, down and no. He’s been getting along with our senior dog who is way too excited he’s in the house and keeps trying to play with him. He’s smart enough to jump to the top of furniture and the cupboard to get away. It looks like he’s looking for a litter box but not already having a cat we don’t have one yet. He let our 3 year old pet him a lot and was comfortable being near her. He’s hidden under the Christmas tree a few times but doesn’t mess with anything. My favorite part about him so far is he’s a smuggler (another reason I think he has a home). He’s content just to lay on mine and my husbands chest and just pur and ask for pets. It’s way too cold for him to be outside. He’s going to be in our bathroom until we come up with a better solution. Please if he is yours or you know who he does belong to reach out as soon as possible before our family gets attached. But if he is yours know he is safe and warm and getting lots of lovins. See full comment
