Lost Cat - Woodhaven (Near 75th St Station) - Distinctive Eyes! My beloved male cat, Tom, went missing yesterday, May 27th, from our home in Woodhaven, Queens, near the 74th Street Elderts lane, with the landmark Iglesias Universal. I am heartbroken and desperate to find him. He is very distinctive, making him easily recognizable: Appearance: He is a bicolor (black and white) cat, primarily white with significant black markings. He has a black head/face with a white blaze down his nose and between his eyes. His ears are black, and he has a large black patch/saddle on his back and sides. His paws, chest, belly, and parts of his face are white, and his tail is black. UNIQUE EYES: His most striking feature is his heterochromia – he has one beautiful golden/amber eye and one bright blue eye. (See photos attached – especially the close-up!) Other Details: He is neutered and microchipped (all my contact info is up-to-date with the chip company). He has a pink nose and white whiskers. His Behavior: He is generally shy and independent, and not a cuddly cat. He will likely not approach strangers for petting or cuddles, especially if he's scared. However, he is highly food-motivated and eats plenty throughout the day. He might be coaxed closer with wet food or treats, even if he avoids physical contact. He enjoys playing with toy mice and cotton balls. What to do if you see him: Please DO NOT chase or try to grab him, as he is easily scared and might run further away. Instead, please: Take a photo if possible. Note his exact location and direction of travel. Immediately call or text me at 917 960 0353 If you can, try to gently offer him some strong-smelling wet food and catnip from a safe distance. I have already put up physical posters in the area. We are incredibly worried and miss him terribly. Any information, even a possible sighting, would be a huge help. Reward Offered for his safe return! Thank you so much for keeping an eye out in our community. Miguel Woodhaven, Queens
