FOUND 3/10: He is a beautiful sweet boy! He was dodging traffic on St Rose and executive airport and I was able to stop traffic and get him out of the street. He ran to a bush in the hospital Parking lot. I was able to capture him - he was weak and in shock - possible “bumped” on the road and paw pad shredded and bleeding. I took him to the vet and he was not chipped or fixed. He is 1-2 years old. He has been in my guest room for about a month and has recovered, been neutered, chipped, labs (all clear), paw healed, vaccinated and is a SUPER FRIENDLY to everyone except for my cats. I am heart broken and would love to give him the best life if I could integrate him. He will be an amazing literally perfect cat - big frame and head - will gain weight as he continues to heal and continues to eat regularly. I was not looking for this but I was not going to leave this guy on the side of the road. So Friendly so feel like he came from a home. Recognize him? He snuggles and purrs and plays - he likes to bury his head, he is an over the shoulder kitty and gives you a hug! He likes to play in the dripping faucet water. He was calm and friendly from the moment I picked up out the bush. He is that way with all of my family and visitors. He only gets feisty when he is with my cats- seems like it is fear and may be linked to survival on the streets. When he is removed from the situation he returns to snuggle boy. He seems totally uninterested in my dog and my dog the same - they co-existed fine - my cats he chases and fight immediately. It may need time to build comfort but I would suggest he be an only cat. All rescues I contacted initially and again this week are full. I am still getting to know him and would like to find him an amazing home who will love him forever and keep him fat and happy :-) I named him King - a nod to Elvis! I don’t know his history or how long he was on the street. He is definitely skinny so for a little bit for sure. Is this your missing cat? Are you King’s new mama? Please share!!
