Paisley is a long haired fluffy cat with blue eyes; she is spayed and MICROCHIPPED. She escaped a vehicle taking her from Jax airport to our home in Gainesville. They report she jumped the fence into the woods. They did not pursue her because it was dark and reported there were no mile markers in the area so there is not an exact location. All I’ve gotten is it was on I-10 westbound after US 301 ramp but before Nassau County Line. The Animal Control (ACPS) officer said she thought the vehicle was closer to Nassau County when she got there. Since we live over an hour away there is no way she can find her way home. I have search the fence line from both sides and deep into the woods all the way to the clearing. There are buildings to hide in. There is a canal that runs the length of the barbed wire fence. The terrain is treacherous filled with thorny vines, other clingy vines, dead branches and brush. I placed flyers in each mailbox on the street opposite the woods (Brandy Branch Road by Loves gas station). Also taped up flyers wherever allowed (which were sadly few). I’ve don’t my best on social media but, I’m a senior citizen and not very tech savvy. I need all the help I can get, I’m desperate.
