Rani is a 1-year-old Congo African Grey parrot who makes clicking and whistling noises. She talks and responds to her name (rah-nee) plus phrases like “let’s go” “step up” “come here.” On Wednesday 10/21 around 12:42 PM, my dad took her outside for fresh air when something startled her, causing Rani to fly high toward the creek near our home. He lost sight of her shortly after. We have searched nearby homes without luck, but neighbors have reported hearing parrot sounds near the creek which barely has water. We’ve left her favorite treats out in hopes she'll return. With nighttime temperatures dropping into the 40s, we are very worried. Please help us search the surrounding area. Any sightings or information would mean so much!
