Highlands Bonnycastle neighborhood at Alta Ave in between Cowling and Barney Ave. Our cat Charlie has gone missing again as of Monday, July 14th, and we are deeply worried. Charlie is an indoor-outdoor cat whom we rescued 10 years ago. Charie had already established the habit of spraying when we adopted him, and we could not keep him indoors 24/7. It was the vet who recommended, after trying several options, to let him go outdoors. He dearly loved, especially by my son, who is autistic and has formed a special bond with him. Charlie brings comfort, routine, and companionship to our home in a way that’s hard to put into words. Charlie went missing for six months last year, from October 2024 until he was found in April 2025, 4.5 miles away from home. The vet told us cats don’t typically wonder that far on their own. A kind woman had been feeding him since February. We were incredibly grateful to be reunited with him, and we were so hopeful he would stay close to home from then on. I am writing today out of genuine concern that someone may have taken Charlie or relocated him intentionally. I hope this isn’t the case, but if anyone has seen him, has him, or knows what happened, I’m asking from the bottom of my heart: please reach out to me directly.
