FOUND PET BIRD – Green-cheeked Conure (Miami Area) A friendly Green-cheeked Conure landed on my husband’s shoulder today and appears to be someone’s beloved pet. The bird is now safe indoors with food and water. If you believe this is your bird, please send me: * A photo of your bird * The area where it was lost * The leg band number (do not ask me for it—I will ask you to provide it) * Any unique identifying features or behaviors I will be taking the bird to an avian veterinarian to be scanned for a microchip and contacting local parrot rescues to help locate the owner.
