Lost Dog Alert: Scared, Sweet Pup Missing!

My dog jumped out of my car while trying to transport him. He was recently rescued from a very bad animal cruelty case here in Marion County along with 53 other dogs. We recently adopted his brother who he spent the awful first 2 years of his life trap in a cage together so my husband and I wanted to rescue his brother but his brother was hacking and coughing so we were taking him back to the shelter to get Medicine for him when he escaped. Because of his background he is VERY scared little boy but very sweet. He will not go to anyone he will only run away. He was last seen in the woods between SW 29th Ave rd in Marion Oaks and Sun RV campground. Every time he has been seen he immediately runs back into the thick woods. Volunteers from the shelter have been helping us try to find him as well. Animal control gave me a trap to set up which I did and have another trap I ordered coming tomorrow to put on the other side of the woods. Last night he was seen running around the back of the woods in Sun RV campground. That is the last we have heard of him being seen. He has a collar and a leash attached to his collar which makes me nervous because of the woods being so think and it getting stuck on something. Any help is greatly appreciate I just want him home we are completely devastated!!!!
