Update: Found out that our neighbors were fostering her as one of their family members found her after she was dumped on a dirt road. We are going to hold on to her as she seems to be happy here.
Thank you all for your support. We knew Macie likes to go in cars, so we left a car door open and some food out and 2 days later she was found in the car!
I hope all others have successful reunions as we were fortunate to have.
