Missing Since: November 1, 2025, near 69th & Amherst Street, San Diego, CA. My beloved cat Niko is missing. He is not a stray—he is my baby, my family, and I live with all my heart and soul for him. Detailed Description • Name: Niko (with a “K”) • Breed: Domestic Shorthair • Color/Coat: Solid black, sleek and glossy; shines under light • Eyes: Bright green/yellow, reflective in low light—intense gaze • Build: Long body, lean frame, long tail • Unique Marking: Single vertical white hairline on his belly between his thighs (visible when he stretches or rolls) • Gear: Niko left wearing a purple harness, purple stress collar, white flea collar. He has since slipped out of all of them and is now bare. • Behavioral Traits: • Trauma‑sensitive; startles easily at noise or sudden movement • Crouches low when eating, darts away if approached • Meows only for me—not vocal with strangers • May cry when alone; currently in survival mode • Hides under cars, near fences, or in lots • Responds to my voice and rhythm—he knows me and only me Special Note from Me I am an ovarian cancer survivor. Because of the chemo, I have lasting nerve damage in my legs. I cannot drive and walking is limited, currently I can barely walk but I am still out here searching for Niko every day. If you see him and can safely catch or hold him, please do—I will find a ride and come immediately, day or night. You may see me walking late at night or resting on gates. Please understand—I will not enter anyone’s yard without permission. I am exhausted and need rest, but I will not stop until he’s home. Niko is my baby boy, my Mama’s love, my family. Please help me bring him back. Contact: 619‑776‑6766 Reward offered. No questions asked.
