I I Cats do not go far from where they get lost. He is probably terrified and hiding under a bush, shed or under a house. Go out frequently esp at night with a flashlight and search. Keep looking at same places calling softly. Alert neighbors, mailmen, dogwalkers.
Borrow or rent a humane trap and cover with a piece of your clothing. Put in smelly food such as tuna or sardines. Check frequently.
