Approx. 14 lbs, female, Lhasa-apso, Grey & white (grey on top, white lower down). On first night home as brand new dog adopted from a foster, she slipped out of collar and ran off. She is at risk, as she had been spayed 4 days earlier (still was on pain meds). She has previous trauma from being "loose" for about 7 months, weighing only 7lbs by the time caught. She may have been on the run during that time, due to mistreatment at home. So she is scared & has a hard time learning to trust people. She loves the smell of bacon, tuna, chicken broth. She likes other dogs. Currently skittish of people & children. She is in a flight mode, and running from people who have spotted her. There have been a few sightings, the most recent being Feb. 4, Tuesday. Again, she appeared scared and ran, when this person tried to get her. She was spotted near Fleming Middle School on Monument Drive, South of Fleming Middle School, near several storage unit facilities, approx mid-5000 block of Monument Drive. They say not to call out to her, DO NOT CHASE, DO NOT TRY TO CATCH... If you happen to see her, it would be best to ignore her, appear non-threatening (avoid eye-contact, be small, slow) and perhaps try to lure with food & yummy smelling items...
