Blu's Appearance & How He Went Missing Blu is a male, neutered Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, approximately 1 year and 7 months old. He has a beautiful blue merle coat with black and gray marbling, white markings on his chest and paws, and warm brown eyes. He has floppy ears, a lean athletic build, and a long tail. He may respond to the name Blu or Blue, but it's possible he has been renamed. Blu has been with our family since he was only 4 weeks old and is deeply loved. Due to personal circumstances, we made the difficult decision to place him for adoption through a rescue in Texas because we believed he would have a better future. He was later adopted by a family in Oregon, but we recently learned that the placement did not work out. According to the agreement, he was supposed to be returned to us. Instead, we believe he may have been surrendered to a rescue or shelter, although we do not know where. We are also worried that he may not have been taken to a shelter at all. If Blu seems scared, shy, or even acts defensive, please know that he may simply be frightened and confused by everything he has been through. He was never like that with our family, and we just want the opportunity to bring him back home where he is loved.
