Found a sweet kitty meowing at my back door in Crown Heights Brooklyn on St Marks between Albany and Kingston Ave. Has anyone lost a darkly colored tabby cat? He/she has a black collar with orange/red stitching that it has gotten one leg through, no tag though it may have fallen off. The cat is very friendly and likes people but I couldn't get it to let me get its collar back on properly (EDIT: was able to get the collar off of them and I could tell it was bothering them and they were grateful to get out of the uncomfortable position). My partner and I gave it food and water which it took to quickly. The cat seems to have been plump at one point but I could feel its ribs when petting it :( Please reach out if this is your cat and I can try to help you get them back!
